When Standard Tap opened its doors in December 1999, our goal was simple:  to create a neighborhood tavern that featured great beer and wholesome food.  With that in mind, we offer a draft-only beer selection that highlights the vast array of styles crafted by breweries located in Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Delaware.  Our food menu both complements the beer and expands the notion of what pub food can be.  We use only the best available produce, poultry, meats and seafood — much of it from area farms and local vendors – to create fresh, seasonal dishes.

Feeling a little under the weather on New Year’s Day? Don’t sweat it, Standard Tap is serving Hair of the Dog Brunch from 11 am to 11pm. We’ll be serving up our award-winning Bloody Marys and Hotcakes till 11 pm. After that we’re heading home to lick our own wounds. See you at the Tap for Hair of the Dog Brunch.

Sausage Fest returns to Standard Tap for our  annual celebration of cylindrical meat! During that magical week, the menu will showcase sausage in all of it’s glory. We’ll be serving up all sorts of small plates from scotch eggs to bratwurst to chorizo. This year we’re handing out Sausage Fest punch cards.  Each  Sausage Fest item ordered fills a space on the card. Once all ten spaces on the card are filled, you can trade it canadian roulette for a Standard Tap Sausagefest Tee Shirt! From Friday July 1th through Monday July 4th our dinner and brunch menus will feature pork chops, bacon, ribs, belly and more. Standard Tap has a lot planned for the Craft Brewers Conference in Philadelphia. In addition to serving lunch all week, we’ve got a bunch of great events in the books. Our May the 4th Galactic Star Wars Pageant is fast approaching. Dress up for a chance to win your very own Sphero BB8 bluetooth droid! Tired Hands collaborated with Stone and Other Half on some exclusive drafts that we’ll be pouring on the 6th. We’re also throwing a very special Sour Brunch on Saturday from 11-3 where we will be showcasing a huge offering of Sour, funky and wild ales alongside our renowned farm fresh brunch. There’s plenty of great beer and food to take advantage of at Standard Tap during the Craft Brewers Conference, stop by!

Big Wood Weekend featuring Bone in Brunch

Big Wood Weekend is coming! From March 12 throught the 13th we’ll be pouring a heady array of barrel aged and smoked beer. This means the return of BONE IN BRUNCH! From 11-3 on Saturday and Sunday our brunch menu will feature all manner of meat on the bone from marrow to chops and ribs. So come hungry because BIG WOOD WEEKEND featuring BONE IN BRUNCH is coming!
